Product Overview
The EK-Quantum Surface P240M – White is a premium 240mm liquid-cooling radiator designed to deliver an excellent balance of thermal performance, low noise, and installation flexibility. With its substantial 48mm thickness, optimized radiator core, 18 FPI copper fins, and sixteen copper coolant tubes, it is engineered to maintain strong cooling performance across a wide range of fan speeds.
Its multiport design provides five G1/4″ connection points, giving custom-loop builders greater freedom when planning tubing routes, draining the loop, and bleeding trapped air. Finished in white with contrasting silver end caps, the radiator is designed to complement modern white PC builds while providing the performance expected from EK’s Quantum lineup.
48mm Thick Performance Design
The 48mm-thick P Series radiator is engineered as an all-round solution for high-performance custom liquid-cooling systems. Its radiator core is optimized to provide strong thermal performance without requiring excessively high fan speeds, making it suitable for both performance-focused and quieter builds.
The radiator also supports Push/Pull fan configurations, allowing users to maximize cooling capacity when additional fan space is available.
New and Improved Radiator Core
The Surface P Series features a newly developed radiator core with an enhanced fin structure and optimized internal design. Compared with the previous CoolStream PE generation, the new Surface P radiator provides up to 10% better core-to-core performance.
This improved design also focuses on reducing both coolant and airflow restrictions, helping the radiator perform efficiently throughout the fan’s operating range.
High-Grade Copper Fins and Tubes
The radiator uses high-grade 99.9% copper fins with an 18 FPI density, providing a carefully balanced combination of heat transfer and air resistance. This allows the radiator to maintain effective thermal performance even when paired with lower-speed fans.
Sixteen 2mm-wide copper tubes extend across the radiator core, providing efficient coolant flow while keeping restriction within the loop low.
Five-Port Multiport Design
With a total of five G1/4″ ports, the P240M provides exceptional flexibility for custom-loop planning. Four primary connection ports are complemented by an additional port positioned on the end tank for convenient draining or air bleeding.
Two additional G1/4″ ports are integrated into the side of the radiator, allowing users to configure tube routing according to the requirements of their build.
Premium White Finish
The P240M features stainless-steel side plates finished in a durable semi-matte white coating. The carefully selected shade is designed to complement popular white PC cases and components.
Contrasting silver extruded aluminum end caps provide a premium visual accent while also covering the radiator internals and contributing to the radiator’s rigid construction. The fins feature a black matte coating with a high thermal conductivity coefficient.
120mm Fan Compatibility
The radiator is designed for standard 120mm fans with a 25mm thickness and includes black M4 Philips round-head screws for installation.
Its design supports effective operation in both Push and Pull configurations. EK recommends using fans with sealed-edge frames or equivalent designs for optimal radiator performance.
Easy Disassembly and DIY-Friendly Construction
The EK-Quantum Surface range uses a modular construction approach that makes disassembly straightforward. This design provides consistent fitment across the Surface radiator family while also making the P240M suitable for users interested in custom modifications, painting, or other DIY projects.
Low-Restriction Cooling Loop Design
The internal structure is designed with low coolant-flow restriction in mind, reducing unnecessary load on the pump and allowing multiple radiators to be incorporated into a single cooling loop.
The radiator’s low airflow restriction also helps maintain effective case ventilation and enables users to achieve strong cooling performance without relying on unnecessarily high fan speeds.
EK-Matrix7 Compatible
The EK-Quantum Surface P240M is fully EK-Matrix7 compatible, using standardized dimensions and port positioning to simplify custom-loop assembly.
This makes it easier to create clean, parallel tube runs and integrate the radiator with compatible EK components, including Reflection² distro plates. Users can also swap between S, P, and X Series Surface radiators when their chassis provides sufficient clearance for the selected radiator thickness.
